My name is Paul Consten and I work as a policy officer for the City Region Parkstad Limburg. Within Parkstad we are working on the development of a regional Circular Economy strategy and we are working towards an Implementation Program for Circular Building in Parkstad. We work together with the national government, the Province of Limburg, IBA Parkstad, Zuyd University of Applied Sciences, municipalities and stakeholders within the region. In my work I am also involved in various circular projects such as SUPERLOCAL - Super Circular Estate, DigitalDeConstruction and the GTB Lab. In these projects, we experiment with the partners with new circular processes aimed at the high-quality reuse and recycling of materials harvested during the demolition/deconstruction of buildings. In these projects new building and design techniques are applied and digital tools are developed. Within these innovative projects we want to ensure that all knowledge and expertise is rolled out and applied in new projects in the region. Together towards a Circular Society!
